Despite decades of neuroscientific research, psychiatric conditions continue to resist clear and consistent biological explanation. This article critically examines the dominance of neuro-reductionist models in psychiatry and introduces behavior analysis as a compelling alternative – one that explicitly rejects the notion that psychiatric conditions can be reduced to brain dysfunctions.
