Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by sustained oxidative stress, inflammation, and epithelial damage. The transcription factor Nrf2 is a master regulator of antioxidant and cytoprotective defenses, and its dysregulation has been implicated in COPD pathogenesis.
