Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of complete arch implant capture using two extraoral photogrammetry (PG) systems (PIC system® and PIC app®). For that purpose, an edentulous cast with six multiunit abutment (MUA) analogs was digitised and 30 complete arch implant captures were performed by each PG system. Euclidean linear and angular measurements were obtained on the digitised reference model with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and were used to compare the discrepancies with the same measurements obtained using the PG devices.
