dc.description.abstractAn experimental study of the tuning range of two dual-wavelength all fiber ring lasers is presented. A compari-son based on the active medium used inside the ring cav-ity is performed: Erbium doped silica fiber versus Er-bium doped fluoride fiber. Two different filters have been incorporated within the cavity in order to achieve dual-wavelength emission of the source: a fixed wavelength Fiber Bragg Grating and a tunable Fabry-Perót for test-ing the tuning capability of the laser.spa
