One of the by-products of the IUE Final Archive has been the redefinition of the Ultraviolet Flux Scale. The method followed is a two stages process in which the relative and the absolute flux scales are derived separately. The relative flux scale is based on White Dwarf models, as is the case for other space experiments (HST, HUT). The zero point, which defines the Absolute Flux scale is set by the OAO-2 measurements in the band 2100-2300 Å.spa
