Una nueva perspectiva del origen del club deportivo en Madrid (1833-1936)

Abstract

La mayoría de la doctrina ha relacionado el origen del club deportivo con la llegada de las compañías inglesas a nuestro país, considerando al club Recreativo de Huelva (1889) como el primer club deportivo español. El presente trabajo pretende mostrar una nueva perspectiva del origen del club deportivo en Madrid, teniendo en cuenta que lo que hoy es Comunidad Autónoma antes era provincia. Existieron clubes anteriores al anteriormente citado; el Reglamento de Gimnástica, Equitación y Esgrima (1842) y la Real Sociedad Gimnástica Española (1887). Por otro lado, no se encuentran referencias de estudios previos al que nos ocupa, desde el punto de vista jurídico, de los Estatutos de los primeros clubes deportivos madrileños, el análisis de esta fuente junto con el estudio de la legislación coetánea y documentación complementaria ha permitido concretar la forma y tipología de las primeras formas jurídicas deportivas, así como las diferencias con las actuales.

Most writers have related the origin of the sports club with the arrival of British companies to our country, considering Huelva Recreation Club (1889) as the first Spanish club. This paper aims to show a new perspective of the origin of the sports club in Madrid, considering that what is now the province Autonomous Region was before. There were previous clubs the aforementioned; Institute of Gymnastic, Riding and Fencing (1842) and Real Spanish Gymnastic Society (1887). In addition, no comparative studies references, from the legal point of view, Statutes of the first Madrid sports clubs, the analysis of this source along with the study of the contemporary legislation and additional documents allowing concrete form and type of the first sports legal forms as well as differences with current.
