Abstract

The evolution of basketball requires the adoption of collective strategies that help the players to improve their three-point and pick-and-roll performances. Rebounds and shooting performance remain the most improved aspects when playing at home, but further investigation is warranted to conduct a more comprehensive analysis of the collective strategies primarily influenced by game-location. This study aimes to analyse preshooting combinations and pick-and-roll performance differences, together with game-related statistics, among the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB) Spanish Basketball First Division teams playing at home, away, or in a neutral court during the pandemic COVID-19 season.
