Two classes of self-similar planar patterns with nine-fold symmetry are studied. They can be derived with the help of a construction due to Nischke and Danzer. One of them has Bragg spectrum and therefore it is of interest in quasicrystal theory. An interpretation in terms of substitutional sequences is proposed.spa
