Abstract

The reduction of fossil fuel consumption is a priority for the industry stimulated by the worldwide policies to reach a climate-neutral scenario in 2050. In these circumstances, natural gas (NG) suppliers are reconsidering the procedure to accommodate the gas from the distribution grid to the consumption points’ requirements. This work proposes an innovative method for adjusting the natural gas from the grid to the consumer pipeline requirements in a full-scale pressure reduction station.
