Abstract

As technology advances, so do Smart Cities, which should imply an inclusion component. One of the groups with the greatest tendency to exclusion in today's society is the elderly, a group that will also grow significantly in the coming years. By uniting the two previous ideas, Extended IP-Spaces were born. These interactive spaces within the framework of Smart Cities seek to entertain and improve the physical, cognitive and communication skills of the elderly through technology. This paper describes the initial design of HERMÓPOLIS, an architectonic, artistic, technological, entertainment, health and social Smart Cities platform oriented to improve the quality of life of the elder people.
