Abstract

Sexting is a widespread sexual practice in society that has exponentially increased over the last decade. Research suggests that this practice may be associated with higher rates of both online victimization and sexual violence. Therefore, this meta-analysis examined the relationship between sexting and different types of sexual violence using the databases WoS, Scopus, Dialnet, and PsycINFO.
