Los campeonatos escolares en España: breve síntesis histórica

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un breve análisis histórico de los campeonatos deportivos escolares en España desde sus inicios en el año 1948, así como de su posterior evolución en etapas más recientes. En este sentido, dos han sido los factores que han tenido una influencia decisiva en el desarrollo y en la organización del los campeonatos deportivos escolares en España: las leyes reguladoras de la Educación Física y la disyuntiva entre la organización de un deporte para escolares o de un deporte para niños en edad escolar. De este estudio también se desprende que la implantación de un buen plan de infraestructuras deportivas resulta imprescindible para el adecuado desarrollo de la actividad y, al mismo tiempo, que la implicación de los centros escolares es la más eficaz estrategia para alcanzar los objetivos deseados de motivación y participación de niños y jóvenes.

The objective of this work is to realise a brief historical analysis of the scholastic sport championships in Spain from its beginnings in 1948, as well as of their later evolution in more recent stages. In this sense, two have been the factors that have had a decisive influence in the development and the organization of the scholastic sport championships in Spain: the regulating laws of the Physical education and the dilemma between the organization of a sport for students or a sport for children in scholastic age. This study also it is come off that the implantation of a good sport facilities plan is essential for the suitable development of the activity and, at the same time, that the implication of the scholastic centres is the most effective strategy to reach the wished objectives of motivation and participation of children and young people.
