La lectura visual de la foto aérea. La interpretación de la foto aérea en los documentos técnicos sobre el territorio

Abstract

Esta reflexión propone una lectura de la imagen fotográfica aérea analítica y crítica. Con otras palabras, defiende su duda porque duda de su credibilidad. La foto aérea es junto al mapa una recreación de la naturaleza como lo son la ciencia y el arte, creaciones ideológicas capaces de inventar y proponer el universo en el acto mismo de reproducirlo. Su uso “recreativo” o profesional, se ha extendido por el acceso que nos ofrecen múltiples plataformas en nuestros dispositivos digitales y en nuestro entorno de trabajo. Los documentos técnicos que trabajan sobre el territorio y el paisaje, hacen uso de la imagen aérea para dibujar sus cartografías y, a veces, las interpretaciones son conflictivas. Como dice el poeta los mapas gustan porque mienten, porque representan mucho más de lo que dicen, lo mismo que las fotos. Se trata pues, de reflexionar sobre el uso que se hace de estas imágenes hoy en día, como herramienta de planeamiento.

This reflection proposes an analytic and critic lecture of the aerial photo. In other words, it defends his doubt because it doubts about his credibility. The aerial photo is with the map, a recreation of Nature, as science and art are, ideological creations able to invent and propose a universe at the same instant they reproduce it. The use, domestic or professional, it has been extended by the multiple digital platforms that exist in our devices and in our work environment. Technical documents that focus on the planning of the territory and landscape make use of the aerial photo to draw their maps and sometimes their interpretations are problematic, manipulative. As the poet says maps are attractive because they lie, because they represent much more than they said, as pictures do. This is therefore about thinking on the use these documents do nowadays as a tool for planning
