Abstract

The true effectiveness in volleyball is related to the ability to perform quick displacements and jumping-related techniques. The monitoring of the muscular response has been related to functional capacity of the knee flexor and extensor muscles in other population. It is of utmost importance to the study the muscular structures that enhance volleyball performance. The aim of this study was to analyze the responses of the normalized response speed and jumping-related techniques in a group of professional female volleyball players.
