Demandas físicas durante una competición regional en el hockey sobre césped femenino

Abstract

Objetivo: comparar y analizar las demandas físicas de jugadoras amateur de hockey sobre césped durante partidos de competición regional. Material y métodos: dieciséis jugadoras (edad: 22.79 ± 3,02 años; peso: 60.02 ± 5.46 kg; altura: 163.48 ± 5.11 cm) pertenecientes a un equipo de primera división ¨A¨ del Campeonato Metropolitano de Buenos Aires, Argentina, las cuales fueron monitorizadas mediante sistemas de posicionamiento global durante 22 partidos del mismo. Los análisis fueron llevados a cabo en función de la posición de las jugadoras en el campo de juego. Los datos analizados incluyeron distancia total, sprint, distancia en sprint (>17 km/h), aceleraciones (>3 m/s²), desaceleraciones (>3 m/s²), top speed y distancia por minuto. Resultados: las defensas laterales presentaron la mayor actividad en distancia total recorrida. Las mediocampistas presentaron mayores minutos por minuto respecto a las demás posiciones en el campo de juego. Con respecto a la actividad a alta intensidad (distancia en sprint, sprint y top speed) las delanteras fueron las que mayor actividad presentaron. En cambio, la actividad neuromuscular (aceleraciones y desaceleraciones) las mediocampistas presentaron los mayores registros. Conclusiones: los resultados de este estudio muestran que las demandas físicas de jugadoras amateur de hockey sobre césped dependen de la posición del campo de juego.

Objective: compare and analyze the physical demands of amateur field hockey players during regional competition matches. Material and methods: sixteen players (age: 22.79 ± 3.02 years; weight: 60.02 ± 5.46 kg; height: 163.48 ± 5.11 cm) belonging to a first division “A” of the Metropolitan Championship of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which were monitored using global positioning systems during 22 matches. The analyzes were carried out based on the position of the players on the playing field. The data analyzed included total distance, sprint, sprint distance (>17 km/h), accelerations (>3 m/s²), decelerations (>3 m/s²), top speed and distance per minute. Results: the lateral defenders presented the greatest activity in total distance traveled. The midfielders presented greater minutes per minute compared to the other positions on the playing field. Regarding high-intensity activity (sprint distance, sprint and top speed), the front runners were the ones with the greatest activity. On the other hand, the neuromuscular activity (accelerations and decelerations) the midfielders presented the highest records. Conclusions: the results of this study show that the physical demands of amateur field hockey players depend on the position of the playing field.
