Selfsimilar planar patterns with nine-fold and fifteen-fold symmetries are generated with the help of a construction that can be extended to odd symmetries higher than five. Generic atomic decorations of the patterns have Bragg spectrum and therefore they can be used as structure models of quasicrystals.spa
