Reframing conservative neck pain management: from techniques to integrated, person-centered care

Abstract

Neck pain represents one of the most prevalent and disabling musculoskeletal conditions worldwide, encompassing a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by pain localized in the cervical region, with or without radiation to the head or upper limbs. Its clinical relevance extends beyond symptomatology, as it is strongly associated with functional limitations, reduced work capacity, diminished quality of life, and substantial years lived with disability.
