Brexit, fútbol y sus consecuencias jurídico-deportivas en reino unido

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como principal objeto realizar un análisis sobre la normativa del Reino Unido en el ámbito de la extranjería. Se pretende desarrollar la situación actual de las personas físicas comunitarias residentes en su territorio dentro del mundo del fútbol y cómo ello influye en su desarrollo. Además, planteamos un segundo objeto, conocer el impacto que tendrá la salida definitiva del Reino Unido de la Unión Europea en el ámbito deportivo, legal y económico del fútbol. Principalmente para desarrollar la situación actual y las consecuencias de extranjería, de aquellas personas físicas que son considerados comunitarios y que dejarán de serlo a causa de esta salida. Todo ello implicaría consecuencias en distintos aspectos de las competiciones, nacionales (Premier League, FA Cup), o bien internacionales (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League), pues la situación legal de los deportistas cambiaría. Es por ello, que buscamos determinar cuál sería la situación legal de estos deportistas, así como qué consecuencias generaría en dichas competiciones.

The main objective of this research is to analyze the regulations of the United Kingdom in the field of immigration. The project aim is to develop the current situation of the community natural persons resident in their territory within the world of football and how this influences their development. In addition, we propose a second object, to know what Brexit’s impact will have in sports, legal and economic field of soccer. Mainly, to develop the current situation and the consequences of foreigners, of those natural persons who are considered EU nationals and they will cease to be because of the Brexit. All this would imply consequences in different aspects of the competitions, national (Premier League, FA Cup), or international (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League), since the legal situation of the athletes would change. That’ s why we try to determine what would be the legal status of these athletes, as well as what consequences would generate in these competitions.
