Abstract

The United Nations committed to promoting the well-being of women through Securi-ty Council Resolution 1325. Subsequently, with Agenda 2030, specifically Goal 5, fo-cusing on gender equality, it is expected that the Security Council will take on a more active role. To achieve this, the international regulations for protecting women, who continue to face systematic barriers in conflicts, are being analyzed. Focusing on them ensures international security. Additionally, the effectiveness of NATO in implement-ing the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda during the KFOR mission is being exam-ined.
