Abstract
Facing the decrease of spectators is the great challenge that the audiovisual industry has today, and in particular the television networks. That is the reason why CMMedia, the autonomous public TV channel of Castilla-La Mancha, publishes from October 17, 2016 exclusive informative summaries through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, always a time before the broadcast on the grid the full news. The objective of this communication is to show how it has innovated in these audiovisual pieces that are uploaded to the network. For this, a methodology of observation and analysis has been followed, at the same time a focus group has been made in the target that most demands them. The results obtained are, mainly, that the pieces that are usually uploaded to social networks are characterized by having an audiovisual language and duration that are relatively different from the traditional broadcasting of news programs through linear television.
