Abstract

Academic dishonesty remains persistent in higher education, exacerbated by online assessment, contract cheating markets and generative AI. The findings support a multi-level integrity programme combining assessment redesign, curriculum-embedded integrity education, staff development, transparent policy, proportionate monitoring and continuing evaluation.
