Cadáveres insumisos: hacia una ética del asedio y de la hospitalidad

Abstract

A la luz de las excavaciones realizadas en el pozo de Vargas, inhumación clandestina utilizada durante la última dictadura militar argentina en la provincia de Tucumán, abordaremos en este artículo la posibilidad de cierta agencia política encarnada en la figura del aparecido. Retomando el concepto de "espectro" elaborado por Jacques Derrida, haremos un recorrido por dos tipos de muertes: una de ellas, entendida como alteridad radical, impuesta por la dictadura como parte del dispositivo de terror, y otra muerte, materializada en los restos de aparecidos, que supone un requerimiento de justicia. Las identificaciones y recuperaciones de personas desaparecidas, expulsadas por la dictadura de la comunidad política y sometidas a un exilio postmortem, nos van a permitir analizar sus efectos políticos en el campo social.

This article explores the politicization of the figure of the disappeared during the last decade of the Argentinean military dictatorship, through the analysis of the diggings carried out in the Vargas’ well, used as a clandestine burial site in the province of Tucumán. The concept of "spectrum", developed by Jacques Derrida, is used to understand two types of death: the first type, understood as radical otherness, and imposed by a dictatorship as part of a terror device; and the other death materialized in the corpses that demand justice. The identification and recovery of the disappeared, expelled by the political community at the time of the dictatorship subdued to a postmortem exile will enable us to analyze their political effects in society. The ‘appeared’, as the irruptive and untimely spectrum, come back bringing both the testimony of the crime committed and a requirement for justice. Hence the ethic-political proposal found in the so-called siege and hospitality phantom effect.
