Proyectar entrevistando. Koolhaas pregunta y Constant responde

Abstract

Las entrevistas entre arquitectos son una práctica comunicativa cada vez más extendida en los medios arquitectónicos hoy. Desde que en el contexto cultural holandés de los años sesenta, publicaciones de arquitectura como las little magazinesForum, Delftse School, Provo, ..., formaran parte del canon arquitectónico como difusión de «el medio es el mensaje», el periódico Haagse Post proponía un particular tipo de periodismo que Remment Lucas Koolhaas aprendió trabajando como responsable de entrevistas de temática diversa.Se pretende confrontar inicialmente lo publicado en estas revistas holandesas de la época sobre New Babylon con la entrevista que Koolhaas realizó a Constant Nieuwenhuys sobre el mismo tema en 1966, la cual sirve de ejemplo metodológico para definir el objetivo de revelar el modo en que proyecta mientras dialoga como ilustración de la hipótesis propuesta de «proyectar entrevistando». Un modelo que sirve para producir otra vía de conocimiento transferible como discurso alternativo de teoría de arquitectura

Interviews between architects are an increasingly widespread communicative practice in the architectural media today. Ever since in the Dutch cultural context of the 1960s architectural publications such as the little magazines Forum, Delftse School, Provo,..., became part of architectural canon as difussion of «the medium is the message», the newspaper Haagse Post proposed a kind of journalism that Remment Lucas Koolhaas practiced as a journalist responsible for interviews on a variety of topics.The intention is to initially compare what was published in these Dutch magazines of the time about New Babylon with Koolhaas’ interview to Constant Nieuwenhuys on the same subject in 1966, which serves as a methodological example to define the objective of revealing the way in which he projects while he talks as an illustration of the hypothesis proposed of «to project by interviewing». A model that serves to produce another path of transferable knowledge as an alternative discourse of architectural theory.
