El Valor Religioso del Cuerpo en Centros Públicos y Privados-Concertados

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza las diferencias y similitudes en los valores del cuerpo de estudiantes de centros públicos y privados-concertados de orden religiosa, focalizando su atención sobre el valor religioso del cuerpo por ser ésta la característica principal que los identifica como diferentes. Participan en el estudio 536 estudiantes de 1º Bachillerato de Castilla y León en el curso 2017/18. El test empleado es el de valores del cuerpo de Casares y Collados (1998). Se llevan acabo dos análisis diferenciados, de valores medios y preferidos, mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados son mostrados en forma de tablas de puntuaciones, sus representaciones gráficas y las jerarquías u ordenamientos axiológicos finalmente derivados. El análisis de valores medios destaca además diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el valor religioso del cuerpo mostrando un menor desagrado en los estudiantes de centros privados-concertados. Por su parte, el resto de valores es compartido por ambos colectivos, siendo el valor placer el indiscutiblemente hegemónico cualquiera que sea la categoría estructurada. Tanto las diferencias como las similitudes halladas dibujan el perfil representado por el cuerpo de los estudiantes, realidad a la cual debería ajustarse cualquier intervención educativa en los valores del cuerpo.

This article analyzes the differences and similarities in the values of the body of students from public and private-concertedreligious order centers, focusing on the religious value of the body as this is the main characteristic that it identifies asdifferent. 536 students from the 1st Baccalaureate of Castilla y León region of Spain participated in the study in theacademic year 2017/18. The test used is that of the values of the body of Casares and Collados (1998). Two differentiatedanalyzes, of mean and preferred values, are carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results are shownin the form charts of scores, their graphic representations and the finally derived hierarchies or axiological ordering. Theanalysis of mean values also highlights statistically significant differences in the religious value of the body, showing lessdislike in students from private-concerted centers. For its part, the rest of the values are shared by both groups, thepleasure value being the undeniably hegemonic whatever the structured category. Both the differences and the similaritiesfound draw the profile represented by the body of the students, a reality to which any educational intervention in bodyvalues should conform.
