Abstract

El artículo es un conjunto de reflexiones, que producidas en paralelo al desarrollo de tres proyectos recientes, tratan sobre la arquitectura que transciende su naturaleza técnica. El edificio hecho de materiales inanimados que cambian de forma en contacto con el agua tiene algo de organismo animado (por la arquitectura) que va a estar sometido al tiempo, la condición de la arquitectura como hecho cultural, capaza de mover al reconocimiento, y también al humor, el edificio como acumulador de tiempo y como pozo incabable de sentido son los temas que se entrelazan. Y también la lección de los maestros. La arquitectura de Coderch, que se sustenta, como él mismo decía, en la “tradición viva”, en posicionarse a favor del anonimato y la naturalidad con que se produce la arquitectura popular y en la constante autoexigencia del mismo arquitecto, en relación a su obra.
