Abstract
En el presente artículo, en base a una revisión bibliográfica, se aborda una escuela criminológica de nuevo cuño, ínsita en los movimientos de la izquierda criminológica, el Ultra-Realismo. Se ha desgranado su origen, necesidad, funcionalidad y propuestas de carácter epistemológico y metodológico. Con ello, se pretende que el lector pueda
adoptar una nueva perspectiva criminológica que le ayude a acercarse con herramientas y conceptos renovados al fenómeno criminal. Asimismo, se finaliza con una breve exposición de las diferencias entre la escuela anglosajona
y la española. A partir de esta diferenciación,
se propone al investigador extender la red
ultra realista y adaptar la escuela a su entorno
sociocultural.
In this paper, through a literature review, we address a new criminological school that is embedded in the movements of the criminological left, Ultra-Realism. We have explained its origin, need, functionality and proposals of an epistemological and methodological nature. With this, we intend that the reader can adopt a new criminological perspective that helps them to approach the criminal phenomenon with renewed tools and concepts. Likewise, we end with a brief exposition of the differences the AngloSaxon and the Spanish school. Based on this differentiation, we propose to researchers to extend the ultra-realistic network and adapt the school to its sociocultural environment.
