Journal of Electrocardiology, 50(5), 698-700. DOI: 10.1016/j.jelectrocard.2017.06.0030022-0736http://hdl.handle.net/11268/6925The electrocardiogram (ECG) presents substantial changes associated with aging. In fact, the likelihood of having a “normal” ECG decreases with age. The most common findings are left ventricular hypertrophy pattern, leftward axis deviation and QRS widening. Interatrial block (IAB) is frequently present, mainly partial IAB. Atrial fibrillation prevalence raises from 6–7% in those aged 65–74 years to 13–17% in those > 75 years.engElectrocardiogeriatrics: ECG in advanced agejournal article10.1016/j.jelectrocard.2017.06.003restricted accessCardiología geriátricaFibrilación auricularEnfermedad cardiovascularGerontología
