Resumen:
At this moment, it is important to consider concrete as a vital part in the integration of structure with the environment, and that the study of the finished surfaces of concretes is one of the aspects that is essential in applications. In recent years, this search for aesthetic requirements of the "naked surface" of concrete has promoted the establishment of standards or rules that would evaluate and choose parameters to quantify a desirable and required finish of concrete. Various factors that influence the quality of the finished concrete are present in the design of structures, in the material and its components, in the execution and implementation, in the castings of concrete and its interaction with the environmental conditions surrounding both the execution and the process of curing of the concrete structure element. This article intends to review and establish some considerations in the assessment of the shortcomings inherent in the construction process and to establish a methodology for the classification of faced or non-faced concrete, through subjective and quantitative methods for the determination of the surface quality.
