Abstract:
Terminologists and documentalists must compile, describe and catalogue information, and specialised translators make use of many of theirs products: glossaries, corpora, bibliographies, catalogues, etc. Nevertheless, the translator usually acts as a documentalist since hisinformation needs are very changeable. Thus,suitable professionalsshould transfer to translators not so much finished products but the ability to data recovery, the so called information literacy, taking to account the special features of the different specialities in translation, as legal translation.
