| spa |
dc.description.abstract | A very important element of our information society is mobility, not only for voice but also for data communication. The flexibility of local networks built around classical copper cabling systems is limited in case of changing the configuration, which means adding or removing connections to the network. It is understandable that wireless solutions for the last section of the line are of great interest for both the industry and the network operators. The solution is the so-called ‚Wireless Local Area Network’ – abbreviated WLAN, equipment is available on the market since 3 years. This paper discusses the most common standardized version of WLAN with regard to its robustness against the influence for interferences, the results will be verified by computer simulation. | spa |
