Resumen:
The artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) is the most reliable and efficient treatment for post-prostatectomy incontinence (PPI) in patients with complete or nearly complete sphincteric damage. However, evidence is mounting in favor of the adjustable transobturator male system (ATOMS, A.M.I., Feldkirch, Austria) as another gold standard for PPI in cases with partial sphincteric competence, both primarily or as rescue surgery.
